Trenton Systems compact 4U enclosure with a 17.8'' chassis depth and a 860W power supply. The TCS4500 is available with the JXT6966 Single Board Computer featuring two, long life Intel® Xeon® LC5528 processors (quad core, 2.13GHz).

Specifications

The Trenton Systems TCS4500 is a standard 4U system featuring a 19" rackmount computer with a compact enclosure depth of 17.8".  The TCS4500 features hot swap, front access storage drives and a long-life, Trenton JXT6966 SBC with two, quad-core Intel® Xeon® processors and a 14-slot BPC7041 backplane.

The CPU options include 2 - Intel® Xeon® Processors LC5528 (Quad-Core, 2.13GHz with Hyper-Threading). The memory options are 2 - 2GB, PC3-10600 DDR3 Mini-DIMMs (4GB total). The TCS features a 500GB, SATA 3Gb/s, 2.5'', 7200RPM, 16MB cache hard drive.

The Trenton Systems TCS4500 has an optical drive installed as standard as well as a DVD-RW drive. The standard DB15 video port is driven by the GPU on the JXT6966 and supports pixel resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) with a 64k colour depth. The system is constructed from robust heavy duty steel painted black. The standard system features the JXT6966, dual-processor, PICMG® 1.3 single board computer with two, Intel® Xeon® processors LC5528 (Quad-Core, 2.13GHz, 8MB cache, embedded CPU). The BPC7041 backplane and 4U enclosure enables this system to support up to ten PCI Express option cards. The backplane I/O available includes 9 - PCI Express 2.0, 1.1 x16 mechanical, x4 electrical 1 - PCI Express 1.1 x8 mechanical & x4 electrical. There is one front access, hot-swap drive bay populated with one 2.5” hard drive with a drive storage capacity of 500GB. The drive interface is SATA 3Gb/s with a drive speed of 7200RPM & drive cache of 16MB. Larger drive capacities are available as required. The single front access media bay is populated with a DVD-RW optical drive with an upgrade option to a Blu-Ray burner. This TCS4500 chassis supports a total of four 2.5" or two 3.5" front access, hot-swap drive bays & the system may be ordered with these additional drive bays populated. The standard PSU is a 860W single, 90-264VAC full range unit. Cooling is provided by 2 - 92mm centre mounted fans. The chassis dimensions are 483mm (W) x 178mm (H) x 452mm (D) (with 19" rackmount handles installed).

The Trenton Systems TCS4500 is available with a number of storage options:

• Upgrade: Standard 500GB 2.5" hard drive to a 1TB 3.5" drive
• Add : An additional 500GB hard drive
• Add: An additional 1TB hard drive
• The maximum number of 2.5" HDDs possible in this system is four
• The maximum number of 3.5" HDDs possible in this system is two

The TCS4500 system memory can also be configured :

• Add : An additional 2GB PC3-10600 DDR3 Mini-DIMM
• The maximum number of DDR3 Mini-DIMMS supported in the system is six

The media upgrade option is for the DVD-RW to be replaced with a Blu-Ray burner.

The processor upgrade option is from the standard Intel® Xeon® Processor LC5528 to the Intel® Xeon® Processor EC5549 (2.53GHz, Quad-Core with Hyper-Threading)
