The Trenton Systems TCS4501 is a 4U, rackmount GPU computer system with a 20” chassis depth featuring graphics & video processing & GPU computing support for multiple NVIDIA® Tesla® C20-series GPUs, four 3.5" front access drive bays and a Slim-line device bay for optical drive media.

Specifications

The Trenton Systems TCS4501 is a 4U, rackmount GPU computer system with a 20” chassis depth featuring graphics & video processing & GPU computing support for multiple NVIDIA® Tesla® C20-series GPUs, four 3.5" front access drive bays and a Slim-line device bay for optical drive media.

Trenton's FSC1400 simultaneously controls and monitors tach pulses from up to four system fans. The controller also accepts fan speed commands (including on/off) and provides individual pass/fail fan status via an I2C interface to the computer's PICMG 1.3 system host board. Fan speed can also be based on temperature via the provided thermal sensor. See the FSC1400 System Fan Speed Controller data sheet for additional details on system fan control operation. The TCS4501 chassis standard is EIA RS-310C 19” Rackmount and the construction is lightweight, rugged aluminium. The standard chassis colour is black but custom paint finishes are available upon request.

The standard PICMG 1.3 backplane used is the 19” Rackmount, 14-slot BPG7087 backplane configuration featuring four x16 PCI Express 2.0 electrical interfaces and ten total PCIe card slots. The TCS4501 also features four front removable and hot swap 3.5” drive bays support up to eight 2.5" HDD carriers and 1 - Slim-line device bay for optical drive media. A High-Performance Computing (HPC) power supply: single ATX/EPS P/S up to 1500W, fixed is installed as standard. Cooling is provided by three 120mm Fans (center-mounted), 90 CFM each. Front panel indicator LEDs for HDD activity and Power Status are included as well as a Power On/Off and System Reset switch. The system also has a flexible hold down bar for the SHB/SBCs and the option cards for added security in high vibration environments. The TCS4501 has front tool-less access to the system air filter for easy cleaning and maintenance. The system metric dimensions are 48.3cm (W) x 17.8cm (H) x 50.8cm (D) (with 19" rackmount handles installed). The equivalent imperial dimensions are 19.0" (W) x 7.0” (H) x 20.0” (D) (with 19" rackmount handles installed).
