TN-28: SigInspector™ Software Application Module for DTA-3290

Introduction

The DTA-3290 is a highly versatile single-antenna software radio transceiver that offers 20 MHz to 6 GHz frequency coverage and a 40 MHzinstantaneous BW. The DTA-3290 also includes 16-bit data converters (ADC & DAC), a large Virtex 5 FPGA and a 10 Gigabit Network fordata and a separate 1 Gigabit network for control. The DTA-3290 only occupies 1U rack space.

The DTA-3290 is designed to connect to any server class computer via the 10 Gigabit network for back-end processing. For userconvenience D-TA offers DTA-1000, a 1U dual quad-core server that optionally includes 8 TB of storage. The DTA-1000 is factory installedwith a 10 Gigabit Network Interface card and D-TA Software Development Kit (SDK) for ease of application development by the user. The SigInspector™ Software module has been designed for Spectral Surveillance, Record & Playback of RF signals and Arbitrary Waveformgeneration. The software resides in the DTA-1000 server. It is entirely GUI based and can be run from the user PC using the 1 Gigabit network.
