StreamStor™ Amazon SATA Disk Controller

The StreamStor™ Amazon SATA Disk Controller features over 400MBytes/Sec of sustained recording and playback. The Amazon card represents a dramatic leap forward in real-time recording and playback technology for the PCI bus.

This solution is ideal for demanding data acquisition and instrumentation applications which demand reliability, security and hours of capacity. The StreamStor™ Amazon is the only disk solution that interfaces to a wide choice of COTS I/O options or utilise all the popular interface options - FPDP, Serial FPDP, FPDP II or the PCI bus for direct-to-disk recording.

The Amazon is the industry's most powerful and flexible data interface based on Conduant's unique modular mezzanine architecture. Other features include simultaneous streaming (read/write), data forking, power failure recovery and wrap mode recording.

StreamStor™ Serial FPDP Mezzanine Board

The StreamStor™ SFPDP (Serial Front Panel Data Port) mezzanine board is designed for long distance, high speed, data capture from Serial FPDP or other optical fiber data protocols. When combined with Conduant’s StreamStor Amazon SATA disk controller, real time data input performance exceeds 500 megabytes per second, the highest speed available today for defense, scientific research and instrumentation applications. For use with compatible StreamStor controllers, the StreamStor SFPDP Mezzanine Board features four independent optical fiber interface ports for simultaneous data input and output available on each port. With data rate and wavelength options, the board can support cable lengths up to 25 kilometers.
