dspblok™ DSP Function Modules

DSP Boards & Systems for Embedded Applications

Danville Signal Processing Inc's dspblok™ DSP function modules feature Analog Devices third generation of of SHARC DSPs. are highly integrated SHARC DSP cores that are easy to incorporate into embedded applications. Each dspblok includes a DSP, flash, eeprom and switching power supplies for the core power supply. A dspblok may also include a user programmable FPGA or PLD. The dspblok zx core products include the dspblok 21261zx and dspblok 21262zx, based on Analog Devices' ADSP-21261 and ADSP-21262 DSPs. These modules also feature an Altera Cyclone FPGA and SDRAM.

The dspblok sx core products include the dspblok 21262sx and dspblok 21364sx, based on Analog Devices' ADSP-21262 and ADSP-21364 DSPs. These modules also feature an Altera Max II PLD.

dspblok 21261

The Danville Signal Processing dspblok™ gives designers all the high performance, features, and peripheral support you want from the Analog Devices SHARC DSP without the need for a full custom design. Its compact size makes it a perfect fit for your embedded application. The dspblok™ also substantially reduces development costs, risk and time. By taking advantage of the pretested signal processing module, pc board layouts become simpler and projects are completed quickly and cost effectively.

dspblok™ zx DSP Core

The dspblok™ zx core is a highly integrated DSP module that incorporates an Analog Devices’ ADSP-21261 or ADSP-21262 SHARC DSP, an Altera Cyclone FPGA, flash, EEProm AND SDRAM memory and a switching power supply to support the core voltage requirements of the DSP & FPGA. All the connections are brought out to standard 2mm dual row header footprints. The board is only 60mm x 60mm (2.36" x 2.36").

The dspblok zx is the foundation of the Danville Signal Processing dspstak zx DSP Engine. Designers can use a dspstak zx with ICE as a development and programming platform for the dspblok zx. Code for both the DSP and FPGA can be uploaded via USB or RS-232 to the dspblok's boot flash memory. JTAG emulator connections are also available for both devices.

dspblok™ sx DSP Core

The dspblok™ sx core is a highly integrated DSP module that incorporates an Analog Devices’ ADSP-21261, ADSP-21262 or ADSP-21364 SHARC DSP, an Altera Max II PLD, flash and EEProm memory and a switching power supply to support the core voltage requirements of the DSP.

dspblok 21262sx

All the connections are brought out to standard 2mm dual row header footprints. The board is only 60mm x 60mm (2.36" x 2.36") in size for compact embedded systems.

The dspblok sx is the foundation of our dspstak sx with ICE DSP Engine. You can use a dspstak sx with ICE as a development and programming platform for the dspblok sx. Code for the DSP can be uploaded via USB or RS-232 to the dspblok's boot flash memory. JTAG connections are also available for both device the DSP and PLD.
