Overview

The Trenton Systems TVC4401 is a Matrox certified 4U rackmount video display system for professional graphics applications. The system motherboard supports up to six Matrox Mura MPX video controller boards and the Matrox Mura MPX boards enable up to 24 HD video inputs & outputs.

Specifications

TVC4401 video controllers feature motherboard configurations with a variety of Intel® processor options including the Intel® Core™ i7 Processor-950 (Bloomfield). Please check with Sarsen Technology for additional Intel processor options.

The Trenton Systems TVC4401 4U video controller features a standard motherboard with one processor and support for up to six vertical, full-height video controller boards used in display wall applications. The TVC4401 supports large data storage requirements with up to eight 2.5" front access / hot swap HDDs.

Support for up to six PCI Express 2.0 or 1.1 video controller cards are available with the TVC4401 system. The 4U rackmount height of the TVC4401 enables full-height cards to plug directly to the video controller motherboard. The single-processor motherboard that comes standard with the TVC4401 supports the following card interface functionality:

  • PCIEX16_1. PCIEX16_3, and PCIEX16_5 - PCI Express 2.0, x16 mechanical / x16 electrical
  • PCIEX16_2. PCIEX16_4, and PCIEX16_6 - PCI Express 2.0, x16 mechanical / x8 electrical
  • PCIEX16_7 - PCI Express 2.0, x16 mechanical / x16 electrical

The 19" Rackmount Video Controller has a 4U enclosure height, a standard single-processor motherboard in a lightweight, rugged aluminum enclosure with four front access HDD drive carriers, two internal drive storage bays, a slim-line optical drive, front panel USB ports with rear panel I/O ports and PCI Express 2.0 option card slots.

The standard motherboard option enables support for six, x16 PCI Express video controller boards such as the Matrox Mura MPX Series cards.
