XPand4208 - Extreme Engineering Rugged System

The small form factor systems we supply, including ATR and 1/2 ATR chassis are designed to fit easily into confined areas on any platform, making them ideal for space constrained applications such as ground vehicles, manned & unmanned aircrafts, helicopters and UAVS.

We work with hand-selected manufacturers to provide our customers with high performance, SWaP-C, rugged COTS embedded systems created specifically to be deployed in challenging environments. The systems are all designed with data resilience, dependability and application integrity in mind.

Durable components such as special single board computer hold-down brackets, shock-mounted hard drive carriers, high capacity cooling fans, easily accessible system air filters, cooling fan speed control and locking cable inter-connects are used to provide the ruggedisation levels required for your project.

Supporting a wide range of form factors, including VPX, XMC/PMC, COM Express®, and cPCI, many of the rugged systems we supply have been designed to meet the rigorous standards of MIL-STD-810 and DO-160, while incorporating the latest power-saving and performance-enhancing technology.
