Integrated System Framework implemented in Altera FPGAs. While FPGAs provide significant performance benefits, the FPGA development process can be both time-consuming and difficult. BittWare's ATLANTiS Framwork (AFW) addresses these limitations by providing infrastructure that supports FPGA development at a higher abstraction level. AFW is the integration of validated HDL components, productivity enhancement resources, and software libraries to aid customers in developing FPGA-based applications using BittWare's boards.
BittWare’s OpenCL Developer’s Bundle provides the tools necessary to begin developing applications for the Altera Stratix V using OpenCL. This development bundle gives developers access to the latest generation of high-performance FPGAs on a validated COTS PCI Express board, while also significantly reducing their time-to-market by using OpenCL kernels to target Altera FPGAs.
The AA-FMC (AAFM) is a VITA-57 FPGA Mezzanine Card based on BittWare’s Anemone floating point co-processor for FPGAs. Featuring the Epiphany™ architecture from Adapteva, the Anemone allows users to combine the complex processing ability of a floating point C-programmable compute engine with the versatility and configurability of an FPGA to offer a completely new approach to floating point digital signal processing. Featuring four Anemone104 (AN104) processors, the AA-FMC adds 128 GFLOPS of total processing performance to BittWare’s Altera Stratix family of host boards.
BittWare’s S5-6U-VPX (S56X) is a rugged 6U VPX card based on the high-bandwidth, power-efficient Altera Stratix V GX/GS FPGA. Designed for high-end applications, the Stratix V provides a high level of system integration and flexibility for I/O, routing, and processing. When combined with BittWare’s Anemone FPGA co-processor, the ARM® Cortex™-A8 control processor, and the ATLANTiS FrameWork FPGA development kit, the S56X creates a flexible and efficient solution for high-performance signal processing and data acquisition. The board provides a configurable 48-port multi-gigabit transceiver interface supporting a variety of protocols, including Serial RapidIO, PCI Express, and 10GigE. Additional I/O interfaces include Ethernet, RS-232, JTAG, and LVDS. The board features up to 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM as well as Flash memory for booting the FPGAs. Providing additional flexibility are two VITA 57 FMC sites for enhancing the board’s I/O and processing capabilities.
