StreamStor Technology for your world of high-speed digital data. Conduant Corporation specialises in designing and manufacturing digital recording and playback subsystems for scientific research, defense/intelligence, aerospace, and instrumentation applications.
Peer to Peer protocols allow direct data streaming from data collection systems and sensors to storage devices without traditional host computer overhead. With sustained recording/playback rates up to 800MB/second, Conduant provides solutions with off-the-shelf products as well as custom design for leading edge applications. New support for PCI Express allows quicker integration with your complex data gathering environments. You’ve got data, we say “Bring it on."
In environments where large volumes of raw, high-speed data are generated (radio astronomy, high-resolution video imaging, radar surveillance) Conduant’s StreamStor® products excel at error-free recording and playback. Unlike traditional tape-based systems or general purpose disk storage, Conduant’s products ensure reliable, guaranteed and sustained performance in increments of 800 MB/s, unparalleled in the industry. The key to Conduant’s technology is an innovative way to record data directly from a third party source, bypassing the bottlenecks inherent in traditional recording systems. StreamStor controllers feature an onboard real-time OS and deep memory buffer for maximum adaptability in high-performance environments.
With Conduant's StreamStor® technology you can utilize a wide variety of digital I/O solutions to meet your project requirements. New applications are now possible since no system resources are required to record high-speed data. StreamStor® is the first direct-to-disk solution for the PCI and CompactPCI/PXI bus. Conduant products are deployed around the world in a wide variety of military, scientific, commercial, mobile and stationary applications. All products carry a full one-year replacement warranty. Let us help you solve your most demanding data acquisition requirements.

The Conduant Corporation Big River™ DM-425-3U storage unit provides disk storage resources to PXI or CompactPCI (CPCI) systems including PCI Express based systems. By providing an internal enclosure for disk storage, the DM-425-3U allows high-speed storage applications to be designed around a standard PXI/CPCI chassis. With capacities of up to 1 TB in a single unit the DM-425-3U can provide abundant storage capacity in a very small volume.
The Conduant Big River™ NTX16 recording system provides over 800 MB/s recording and playback performance in a shallow depth 4U rack mount chassis.
The Conduant Big River™ LTX3 recording system provides up to 800 MB/s recording and playback performance in a compact, power efficient package. At 17” in width and 20” in depth and 1.75” tall, the LTX3 provides a new level of exceptional performance and capacity for mobile, portable or space constrained recording and playback applications.
The Optical High Speed Serial Mezzanine Board can be used with compatible StreamStor® controllers to provide direct data input from Serial FPDP (Serial Front Panel Data Port) as well as other protocols including SerialLite II.
The Conduant Corporation SNAP12 Optical FPGA input/output board provides the user with a hardware platform that is able to sustain full-duplex high-bandwidth transfers through its 8-lane Gen2 PCI Express interface and its 12-lane optical interface. Each PCIe lane provides up to 5Gb/s per direction (simultaneous in and out) and each optical channel provides up to 3.3Gb/s per direction (simultaneous in and out). In addition, the board provides 8GB of high-speed DDR3 SDRAM. At the center of the design is a Xilinx Virtex-6 XC6VLX130T-2FF1156 FPGA which interconnects these ports and devices while supplying the additional resources that are available within the FPGA.
