BittWare’s S5-PCIe-DS (S5PE-DS) is a PCIe x16 format COTS card featuring two high-bandwidth, power-efficient Altera Stratix V GX or GS FPGAs. Designed for high-end applications, the Stratix V provides a high level of system integration and flexibility for I/O, routing, and processing. The S5PE-DS is a flexible and efficient solution for high-performance network processing, signal processing, and data acquisition. Combining it with BittWare’s Anemone co-processor and ATLANTiS FrameWork enhances productivity and portability and allows even greater processing efficiency. The board provides up to 64 GBytes of DDR3 SDRAM as well as options for RLDRAM3 and QDRII+. Providing additional flexibility are 4 front-panel QSFP+ cages, allowing 4 40GigE interfaces (or 16 10GigE), direct to the FPGAs for reduced latency, making it ideal for high frequency trading and networking applications.
The Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) XPedite5205 PMC/XMC-based Embedded Services Router (ESR) router runs Cisco™ IOS® Software with Cisco Mobile Ready Net capabilities, providing highly secure data, voice, and video communications to stationary and mobile network nodes across wired and wireless links. When combined with UHF, VHF, Wi-Fi and other radio platforms, the combination can create mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), without requiring a connection to central infrastructure for military and emergency response. It extends the Cisco enterprise infrastructure beyond the reach of traditional fixed-network infrastructure for oil and gas, mining, smart grid, heavy construction, transportation, homeland security, and public safety applications.
