Overview

NXP i.MX95 System on Module


The NXP i.MX95 AIDA SOM is a compact System on Module engineered for next-generation edge computing, advanced vision processing, and high-performance industrial applications.

At its core is the NXP i.MX956 or 952 processor, which features a quad ARM Cortex-A55, a Cortex-M33 MCU for real-time tasks, and an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) delivering 2.3 TOPS for optimised machine learning workloads.

Built for deterministic, secure operations in robotics, autonomous systems, and Smart Industry environments, the module supports extensive memory options (up to 8GB LPDDR5 with ECC) and robust hardware security, including Secure Boot and NXP’s EdgeLock enclave.

With dual Gigabit Ethernet supporting TSN and rich multimedia interfaces (including multi-camera ISPs, 3D GPU, and 1080p60 encoding/decoding), the AIDA SOM provides a scalable, secure, and easily integrated platform for demanding embedded and Edge AI designs.
