We like to celebrate the little moments as well as the significant milestones, and today we are very pleased to commemorate the 3
rd anniversary of our Finance Manager, Laura Hallsworth, joining the team.
One of two Laura’s here at Sarsen, Laura H joined us in 2018 and looks after all the accounting and financial processes for the business, including invoicing, cash flow management and most importantly, salaries! This makes her a very popular member of staff at the end of the month…
Laura H is also responsible for some of the funniest Christmas party moments in Sarsen’s history. Her reaction to a certain very charming and very yellow Secret Santa gift will be talked about for a long time to come.
Nigel Norman, MD, echoes the sentiment; “Laura is highly valued not only for her sound financial management skills, but also as a very amusing raconteur during online staff meetings over the last year; specialist subjects include fun days out as Forest School leader, the importance of gin, and the Monday morning series, ‘Tales from the Hallsworth Household’. It’s fair to say that stories about home schooling in lockdown are far more entertaining for the people without young children than those battling with reluctant pupils.”
