Sarsen Technology Announces Executive Promotions

Marlborough-based Sarsen Technology Limited, a leading UK distributor of embedded hardware and software, is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior members of staff to the Board of Directors, effective immediately.

The promotions come at a key point in Sarsen Technology’s continued growth, with an increased staff headcount and a surge in new projects across a number of sectors. The company, whose technology has most recently been included in airborne protection systems and next-generation radar development, is looking forward to another successful year.

“We have a number of exciting plans and projects ahead in 2021”, said Managing Director Nigel Norman. “The pandemic and resulting impact on the economy has made this marketplace a challenging one, but we are pleased to have achieved significant growth over the last year, allowing us to invest in the development and expansion of our team, and maintain our position as a leading specialist provider at the cutting edge of technology solutions”.

Stuart Main has been promoted to Sales Director and will be leading the sales team through the next phase of evolution at Sarsen. Stuart has significant experience in developing and managing successful sales teams in the defence industry and will be responsible for driving continued growth, supported by an exciting product roadmap that will provide even greater opportunity to explore new market sectors.

Joining Stuart on the Board is Laura Biddiscombe, in the newly created role of Operations Director. Having been at the company for over 13 years, Laura has a strong skill set and an excellent reputation for relationship building and process management. She will continue to be intimately involved in day-to-day operations, with a focus on developing best practices for quality and service throughout the company.
