Overview

ADC & DAC with Gen 3 Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC and High-Speed Serial I/O

The high-bandwidth GM65 COTS ADC and DAC Card from Annapolis features Gen 3 Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ RF System-on-Chip (RFSoC) technology that provides 4 ADC channels and 4 DAC channels. It is designed for high-performance applications, including Software Defined Radio (SDR), Radar, and Electronic Warfare.

The mezz card is compatible with any WILDSTAR mainboard with a WILD Mezzanine Card HSS (WMC-H) Site.

Examples: WILDSTAR 3XV1 for 3U and WILDSTAR 6XV2 for 6U.

Technical

General

  • Integrates AMD Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZU47DR FPGA. Other configurations also available – contact Sarsen for part number options.
  • Capability to have four ADC and four DAC channels in one 3U OpenVPX slot when plugged into WILDSTAR OpenVPX FPGA mainboards
  • Capability to have eight ADC and eight DAC channels in one 6U OpenVPX slot when plugged into WILDSTAR OpenVPX FPGA mainboards
  • Compatible with any WILDSTAR mainboard with a WILD Mezzanine Card HSS (WMC-H) Site
  • Firmware and Software Board Support Interface provided in Open CoreFire Next and VHDL source
