System on Modules (SoMs) are board level circuits that integrate a system function in a single module.

There are many benefits in using an SoM, including a wide choice of CPUs and that it can be integrated into many embedded computer applications. The design is centred on a microprocessor with RAM, input/output controllers and all other features needed to be a functional computer on a single board.

Sarsen Technology offers a wide range of SoMs based around ARM and PowerPC architectures, from entry level models right through to high end ruggedised boards.
