Eagle

Overview

Ultra Rugged Intel Atom "Coffee Lake" Embedded Processing Unit (EPU)

The Eagle EPU module from VersaLogic is a rugged board-level embedded computer featuring a Xeon-E processor and soldered down NVMe SSD storage. Eagle provides an ideal solution when high performance computing and compact size is required in harsh environments.

Eagle is based on Intel®’s 9th Generation Xeon-E 'Coffee Lake' processor, which features 6 cores and Hyper-Threading. Eagle also provides high speed SSD storage (NVMe) and up to 32 GB of error-correcting RAM.

To maximise SWaP the high performance Eagle is built to a compact 90 x 96mm footprint. The 37mm height fits comfortably in most 1U enclosures.

For the most extreme environments the Eagle is designed and tested for full industrial temperature (-40° to +85°C) operation and meets MIL-STD-202H specifications for shock and vibration. It uses latching connectors to address cable detachment issues.
