Today we’re bringing you a detailed exploration of the XpressSX AGI-FH400G, a groundbreaking offering from reflex ces at the forefront of high-speed data transmission. At its core, the XpressSX AGI-FH400G leverages Altera Agilex™ I-Series SoC FPGA technology to optimise data throughput, enabling seamless transmission across diverse applications and infrastructures. The Agilex I-series FPGA integrates the quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, which provides users with impressive levels of speed and adaptability to tackle data-intensive tasks with agility and precision and delivers up to 40% lower power for applications in data centres, networking, and edge computing.

For peace of mind, the XpressSX AGI-FH400G is fortified with 2x DDR4 SO-DIMM sockets (for FPGA), each capable up to 32GBytes SO-DIMM with ECC (error correction code) memory, ensuring the reliable and secure transfer of information in the face of potential disruptions or vulnerabilities. The board is also RoHS and REACH compliant.

 


In terms of compatibility, the XpressSX AGI-FH400G is designed to easily integrate with a wide range of computing architectures and environments, including commercial servers and workstations, as well as custom high-performance computing clusters. The PCIe Gen5 x16 interface is CXL compatible, offering an open standard interconnect protocol for high-speed CPU-to-device and CPU-to-memory.

In addition to the PCIe Gen5 interface, the board has been designed with primary interfaces and components including 400 Gb Ethernet, HSI connectors (offering transceivers for PCI Express), power supplies, a USB 2.0 port (for JTAG, UART, BMC), high-speed transceivers, DDR4 (on-board and SO-DIMM) interfaces and more.
