These embedded VPX storage modules feature the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, which allows for standalone operation, and for several interfaces that can operate simultaneously. Options include PCI Express, Aurora, 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet, and user-defined protocols.
Available in both 6U and 3U, these 6U OpenVPX Storage boards currently feature up to 32 TB of capacity in a single 1” slot, and up to 10 GB/sec read/write bandwidth. Gen2 boards are 100Gb Ethernet capable. This exceptional bandwidth comes from 25-gigabit-per-second FPGA transceivers and high-density MULTIGIG RT3 backplane interconnects, which deliver 100 gigabits per fat pipe.
