ECRIN Systems Introduces Rugged Mission Tech at DSEI 2025

We’re excited to announce that ECRIN Systems will be joining us on the Sarsen Technology stand (N4-311) at DSEI 2025, taking place at ExCeL London this September.

ECRIN, a key player in high-performance embedded computing, will be showcasing the very latest from their ONYX series of rugged mission computers, purpose-built for demanding defence and aerospace environments.  

These MIL-STD-810 and DO-160 qualified SWaP-C COTS and Modified COTS multi-mission computers range offers high flexibility in SWaP-C constraint environment and CPU/GPU/FPGA heterogeneous architecture for an optimised GFLOPS/Watt ratio. The NanoONYX is particularly popular for tactical missions in UAS, UCAV, manned or unmanned aircrafts.

Making It’s UK Debut at DSEI 2025

Taking a running leap into the UK defence market at the show is ECRIN’s brand new Quartz rugged Ethernet switch, designed for tactical networks that require low-latency, high-bandwidth, and robust cyber protection.

This switch is ideal for SWaP-constrained platforms where performance and resilience are critical. Offering flexible connectivity, it supports configurations with up to 8 copper and 2 optical ports - featuring both Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The Quartz also integrates a PTP Grandmaster Clock for precise time synchronization, with configurations available for Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) to meet real-time data transmission needs in demanding applications.

A fully deployable starter kit, which includes a fully assembled and integrated switch board, standard interfaces (RJ45, SMA etc) and access to configuration tools, supports rapid prototyping and field testing with minimal additional integration effort.
