Overview

Multi-Channel 1553 and ARINC Connectivity with Real-Time Thunderbolt™ Technology


The TBOLT-MA4 from Alta Data is a full featured and native 1553 and ARINC Thunderbolt interface. It provides a full PCI Express interface, which is the same advanced interface as PCIe backplane cards, in a small, portable, rugged appliance.

This small form factor Thunderbolt appliance supports full Real-Time control - the same as a PCI Express card in a server, which is much better than non-real-time USB. It offers full hardware interrupt handler support, and the AltaAPI SDK provides easy integration, using exactly the same code as other Alta PCIe devices. Windows 10 is supported.
