Overview

STMicro STM32MP1 SODIMM System on Module

ETRA SOM is the latest system on module solution from DAVE Embedded Systems, based on the recent ST STM32MP1 application processor.

The STM32MP1 series is based on a heterogeneous single or dual Arm Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4 cores architecture, strengthening its ability to support multiple and flexible applications.

ETRA SOM was designed with particular attention to low power consumption thanks to its ARM Dual Cortex-A7 architecture. The Cortex-A7 core provides access to open-source operating systems including Linux.

In addition to the basic functions, the ETRA SOM has a USB connection, Ethernet, can drive a display, record video and is equipped with an extremely versatile microcontroller that can be used for all activities in real-time. ETRA SOM is also compatible with the Axel ULite system, allowing the transition from NXP i.MX & UL.
